On Sat. before Easter day, we went and joined pretty much the entire town of Chelan at the park for the "easter egg...not hunt...but STAMPEDE!" There are sections according to age, so as all the kids line up in their appropriate place, the horn goes off and the eggs are literally gone within probably 10 seconds! I think they still end up liking it though - this year they had Walmart last years leftover stuffed animals, so those were scattered around too. Ashlyn spotted the pony she wanted by the starting string, stood in front of it for 1/2 hr. before the "race" started, and pounced on it immediately when the starting horn sounded!
