With the flurry of snow that arrived over the holidays, we had a nice deep blanket of snow covering the ground. But.... we turned out to be procrastinator snow-players and didn't go out and enjoy it much until the meltdown....
So.... the night before we heard the temps were supposed to reach above freezing, we built Mr. and Mrs. Snowman/lady and Ashlyn added a cute little pup for them!
By the way, these folks still are standing in the yard (no, not the kids...just the snowmen...) but unfortunately Mrs. Snowlady must have had an argument with Mr. Snowman (you never know what the freezing cold will do to your anger management), but apparently she got a little "heated up" and decapitated Mr. Snowman - cause his head is now laying on the ground - she even went so far as to pluck out his eyeballs - what nerve....!!! And the poor snow pup - he must have had enough of the whole business, cause he disappeared the next day. Mrs. Snowlady is still standing proud in her spot tho- she lost some weight due to the misfortunate events that occured.

The kids got creative and played baseball with the snow and a stick - it turned out to be loads of fun!

Cody had the greatest time purposely flying off the sled when he came to a halt and landing face-first in the snow.
