We had a bonfire out at a cabin where the guys have done some work. Some old decking needed to be burned, so we enjoyed a cold, beautiful day staying warm by the fire. Cody's helping out here....
...while Caleb decides that walking around on these cumbersome rocks is too much work and thinks he'll just take a rest instead.
Lunch time! Daddy made small clean fire out of wood that didn't have old paint on it.

The boys supervised the construction site of the new home that the guys will be starting. It's got an impressive foundation going in because of the steep ground that it's on, so we checked out the fancy work being done.
Ashlyn's friend Molly had her over one day when Molly's dad came home with a baby bear they'd captured (part of his profession). They believed that it's mother had died, so it's being taken to a rehab center for one year before they return it to the wild. Ashlyn was lucky enough to get to see this cute little guy!
