The night before we went camping in Canada, we took our little fishing boat up to Wells Dam, intending to fish below the dam. However..... it was a spur of the moment decision, so by the time we got there, the bait shops were closed and nobody carried the right tackle gear. We went above the dam instead, and the motor had a hard time starting for some reason, so I waited on the pretty shoreline for Shawn and the kids to paddle back to get me. Luckily, the motor started right after that and we tootled around for awhile. One of those outings where everything seemed to be going wrong, but we still had fun anyway :)
Teana came to town with her grandma for a week, so we got to have her spend a day and night with us. Her and Ashlyn haven't gotten to be together for quite awhile, so it was fun to have her here. They happened to even have the same matching dresses :)
We had a pool party with 9 of Ashlyn's school friends one day, which turned out to be really fun and a good chance for them to all see each other during the summer.
After the Omak Stampede, Grandma D. and the rest of the cousins came to stay for a few days and have fun in Chelan. We had fun at the lake, in the pool, at the waterslides and Brandon even waterskied for the first time.
