Early Feb 09

One weekend in the first part of Feb., we spent an afternoon out at the Manson property burning some old scrap wood, and hanging around in the beautiful fresh air and sunshine!

Lunch called for the obvious - hot dogs!!

Cheese! (...... or rather... Ketchup!)
Jus' like dad :)

In the process of messing around with my camera, I caught my husband on fire!

...and some trees too.

This old crate made an excellent playpen for our kids and they stayed in there for over an hour!

Since moving to Chelan and hauling our unfinished swing set with us, the poor thing sits all by it's lonesome up on the Manson property.... The good thing is, the kids love to play on it when we go there.

Ashlyn and her pal :)

Fun in the trees....

Later in the day, my mom and dad came to spend the night after some funerals they'd attended, so we brought them out to look at the next building site for the guys. Just awaiting some warmer weather still...... At least the concrete is all poured now and sealer sprayed on it.

Gorgeous view from the location.

Cody "read" Pete and Pickles to grandpa. It was really cute, because after having read this library book a number of times, he picked up on some complicated phrases like "Pete was a perfectly practical, predictable pig"! And for him to get all those words out was hilarious! He remembered an amazing amount of sentences in the book from the right pages :)

Stories with grandma D.

Future photographer!
Mommy's bad luck with cameras not lasting long has provided a nice toy collection :)

This moment was actually pretty funny because daddy was just getting home from work, so you can see Cody looking out the window, waiting for him to come in. Caleb grabs his vest and a play cell phone and says "I'm going to work!" He sees Shawn talking on the phone alot for work, so in his mind, his vest and cell phone means work!! I thought it was cute he wanted to be just like dad when he came in.
